DENISON, TX -- According to Grayson County Sergeant Rickey Wheeler, Friday a homeowner came home to Paul Potts and Kelly Jones strapping a tow strap to the owner's yellow Oldsmobile Toronado.

"He was able to keep the female there. The male subject ran off into the woods when he told him he was going to call 911," said Sgt. Wheeler

Deputies caught up to Potts on Tuesday. He was arrested and taken to jail. According to authorities, he managed to steal a grand total of seven cars and a sailboat from the same property.

"According to the homeowner, he had not been to his property in approximately two weeks. So, over the last two weeks they have slowly been taking these vehicles from his property," said Sgt. Wheeler

Three vehicles and the sailboat have been recovered, but the rest of the cars are still missing.

Potts and Jones have been arrested for theft and robbery. The sheriff's office believes a third person is involved.
