SHERMAN, TX-A country music star stops by a Texoma pub Wednesday afternoon, surprising its servers, as well as its customers. Victoria Maranan tells us who.
Award-winning country singer Miranda Lambert decided to stop by Cellarman's in Sherman Wednesday for lunch. I spoke with the server who waited on Lambert and a fan who wished she got to the pub minutes earlier.

Sheena Edgar, decided to play some music Wednesday afternoon while working at Cellarman's in Sherman as she picked Pistol Annie's "Hell on Wheels," featuring Miranda Lambert from the jukebox. To Edgar's surprise, the singer herself walked in.

"It was pretty exciting, like I didn't even recognize. Like she came in real fast with her hat on and Missy saw her and goes 'I think that's Miranda Lambert' and I was like 'gasp!'"

She was even more shocked to see Lambert sit down at a table in her section.

"I was really nervous, really nervous like shaking. Yeah, I was nervous, 'laughs' but then I was okay. I was okay," she said.

But the nerves went away as Lambert placed her order.

"She was just a regular person," she said.

She said, working at Cellarman's for nine years, she never thought she would run into a celebrity.

"It was pretty neat her coming in to a small establishment like we have, you know it brought in business. We posted on Facebook and a lot of people, you can tell, commented real fast like a lot of people," she said.

That's exactly how Sadler resident and Miranda Lambert fan Alex Boren found out the superstar was in town.

"My friend called me and was freaking out and said that she saw it on Facebook and she's like 'will you please come?' And so I soon as she told me that we were on our way over here just to see if we can see her," she said.

So she hurried to Sherman, hoping to get a glimpse of her idol.

"As soon as she got here, she called me and said she wasn't here so it's kind of a bummer," she said.

But even though she missed meeting Lambert, Boren said just the fact that she stopped in town made her day.

"Cool, I mean, Sherman's not huge but it's not tiny and it's like cool that she's here."

Edgar said Lambert was very gracious agreeing to take a picture with her and also gave the restaurant an autographed photo before she left. And if you're wondering, Lambert ordered a pub club sandwich, tortilla soup and fried pickles.
