Hunters in Lebanon brought in game for a good cause.
The Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department hosted it's first ever coyote hunt.
The hunt took place from first light until 7 this evening. That's when hunters checked in to see who brought in the most coyotes.
Thirteen teams signed up at $100 dollars per team.
One hunter says the coyote problem will help the event grow.
"Our fire chief has been contacted by a lot of landowners who say 'we got coyote problems, please come and hunt them,'" said Cecil Roper, a hunter and first responder. "So I think it's going to be nothing more than great in the years forward."
The department gave out three cash prizes and raised more than $700 dollars.
