BRYAN & CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK - Several fire departments are fighting a large wildfire on the Bryan/Choctaw county line.

Oklahoma Forestry Services say they got the call around 2:15 p.m. They say it started near Good Spring Church Road and has burned 300-500 acres. There were some homes threatened, but none have caught fire.

The Forestry Service says someone started this fire. They just don't know if it was intentional or accidental at this point.

They say a private helicopter is doing water drops helping firefighters on the ground and monitoring the blaze.
