Dozens of animals seized from Hunt Co. shelter up for adoption

HUNT COUNTY, TX-- Dozens of animals seized from a Hunt County animal shelter last month are now up for adoption.

Maura Davies with the SPCA says, more than 25 of the 222 animals rescued from the Frank Barchard Memorial Animal Shelter are available for adoption at the SPCA shelters in Dallas and McKinney.

This is the first large group of animals from this rescue to become available for adoption. Eighteen other animals seized from the shelter have already been adopted.

Davies says more animals will become available in the coming days and weeks.
