GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - Early voting for the July 31st Texas Primary Runoff Election started Monday. Several key local and state races remain up for grabs.
In Grayson County voters will decide on either incumbent sheriff Keith Gary or challenger Johnny Waldrip. No Democrats are running. And incumbent precinct three commissioner Jackie Crisp faces challenger Phyllis James in the GOP Runoff. The winner will take on Democrat Carol Shea in November.
Statewide, both the GOP (David Dewherst vs. Ted Cruz) and Democratic (Paul Sadler vs. Grady Yarbrough) nomination for Kay Bailey Hutchison's seat in the U.S. Senate advanced to runoff.
