Farris school will merge with Lane Elementary
ATOKA, OK - Farris School in Atoka County will close it's doors at the end of the month.
Farris residents voted Tuesday in a special election to merge Farris with Lane Elementary.
Students who choose to go to Lane will start March 1st.
Students also have the option to transfer to another district.
The School received an 'F' back in November when the state released ratings based on a A through F system.
