MEAD, OK - Authorities say a struggle involving 2 men and a woman ended in the shooting death of 53 year old James Allen Boman last night in Mead. The investigation is on going but Boman's girlfriend says she wants justice now.

"He was a really happy go lucky guy, he wouldn't hurt a fly." said Kathleen Nave.

Boman's girlfriend, Kathleen Nave, says she still doesn't know exactly what happened. Bryan County investigator, John Bates, says Boman was dead when they arrived on scene last night.

"When I arrived there was a deceased male on the ground, on the property, there was another male who was complaining of rib injuries, there was a female who had he wouldn't hurt a fly." Bates said.

Bates says it happened sometime after 4 o-clock, outside of this travel trailer on Willow Lane. He says Boman was on the property of the alleged shooter.

"Now we're still talking to witnesses in the area, canvasing, people who may know more about the circumstances between the relationships and what this incident to escalate to the level it did." said Bates.

A person of interest was questioned and released but the investigation continues. Nave, who lives around the corner from where the shooting happened, says the man who shot Boman has a history of threatening people in the neighborhood.

"He's been doing it to everybody, I mean people out here, he pulls guns on everybody." Nave said.

Nave says she wants answers and justice for the man she loved.

"Angry, really super hurt, and they need to do something about this guy." Nave said.
