SHERMAN, TX-Firefighters battle not only flames, but live electrical wires while trying to put out a house fire Tuesday night.
Crews said the flames were shooting out of the roof when they arrived at the house in the 1200 block of Ross street. They contained the blaze within a few minutes, but had to work around live electrical wires until Oncor cut the power.
The house was heavily damaged, but officials said thankfully no one was at home when the fire broke out.

"It looks like the fire started in the outside of the house and moved into the structure. Very quick fire attack from the fire department minimized the damage to the home though," Sherman fire marshal Nathan Huffman said.

Huffman said the fire may have been electrical.
