GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Tom Bean's former police chief has been indicted for tasing a fellow officer and stealing firearms from the department's evidence safe.
39-year-old Michael Webster was arrested back in August in Dallam County, Texas.
The investigation stemmed from a stolen AR-15 assault rifle purchased by Tom Bean PD. They later learned Webster had stolen and sold more firearms from evidence and tased one of his officers.
Webster resigned last October citing family and health issues.
