Former Antlers Police Officer facing charges

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK -- A former Antlers Police Officer is facing charges, after allegedly bringing contraband into a jail for his brother.

Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office says Robert Williams turned himself in on June 1st after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is accused of bringing a cell phone into the Pushmataha County jail, to give to his brother, Hank Williams.

Hank williams is in jail, facing several child sex crime charges.

Robert Williams was released on his own recognizance, and is scheduled to appear back in court for a preliminary hearing on June 27th.
