GAINESVILLE, TX -- The new Gainesville Industrial Park will soon start to take shape.

The city council approved a $1.5 million loan to GEDC for infrastructure improvements at the 142 acre park.

The loan will pay for roadways, water and sewer lines, and fees associated with the installations.

Just last month, the park landed it's first tenant, Valew -- a truck manufacturing company from California that's expected to expand to the park next spring.
