GAINESVILLE, TX - A Gainesville man has been indicted in the murder of his girlfriend earlier this summer.

Juan Manuel Rodriguez-Olivas is accused of stabbing 22-year-old Linda Barrett back in June. Gainesville police say Barrett's body was found inside a home on Truelove, near South Taylor Street.

Cooke County District Attorney Janice Warder says she expects an arraignment date to be set later this week.
