GRAYSON CO., TX -- Tuesday Grayson County Commissioners debated whether political campaign signs should be allowed on the courthouse lawn.

Grayson County judge Drue Bynum made the motion to pass a resolution that would prohibit political signs on courthouse property but the motion failed as there was no second.

Bynum said, "In the past we have not allowed that here at the square, in the courthouse, didn't feel like it was fair to give any certain candidate an advantage."

Political campaign signs are allowed on the courthouse but must be 100 feet away from the doors throughout the early voting period.
