GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A new class offers kids ways to get creative in the kitchen.
Grayson College is now offering cooking classes for kids ages 8 to 14.
The class teaches kids a variety of techniques from healthy snacks to full nutritious dinners.
Thursday's group cooked up fruit smoothies, spaghetti and meatballs and a fruit trifle.
The college started the class as a way to get kids interested in cooking at home.
The college says they'll continue to offer the classes throughout the fall.
Parents can sign their kids up on the college's continuing education website.
