One Texoma convention is teaching others a different way to talk.
"Ham-a-rama" brought out dozens of amateur radio users to Ardmore today and yesterday.
The "Texoma Hamarama Association" sponsored the convention where dealers sold different types of radios for communication and emergencies.
It also featured demonstrations and a flea market for people to raise money for the hobby.
The association awarded door prizes and a scholarship.
Convention goers could also finish radio licensing exams.
