Health department employees fish Lake Texoma

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX-- Employees with the Grayson County Health Department spent a day on the lake, striper fishing, but it wasn't all for fun.

Dr. Jerry Bennett and Director John Teel, felt it was important to show the public what they say they've known for two months, that the lake is safe.

They say the Health Department is proposing a new Blue-Green Algae advisory system, because the Corps of Engineers system is confusing to some people.

In the next two weeks they will present their new advisory protocol to the Grayson County Commissioners Court.
