Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a Denison man accused of killing his mother last year.
John Saxon is accused of murder in the case.
Saxon allegedly killed Mary Lee Saxon, and then set her house on fire.
District Attorney Joe Brown said the defense will try to prove insanity.
He said most of the testimony will be psychological.
