K-9 sniffs out cocaine

SHERMAN, TX-- Sherman K-9's found 70 grams of cocaine in a car traveling down Highway 75 yesterday.

Police said when they stopped Paul Battle on a traffic violation the officer smelled marijuana in the car. During a search, police say, one K-9 sniffed out 70 grams of crack cocaine.

Battle was arrested for manufacture and delivery for controlled substance. There was a juvenile passenger was also arrested.

Battle is in the Grayson County jail on a $25,000 bond.
