SHERMAN, TX - A Sherman attorney was arrested Tuesday night when a Grayson County deputy discovered methamphetamine and two pipes upon a search of his vehicle on a traffic stop.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Mark Haning stopped Michael Garnet McGraw, a 49-year-old attorney, on U.S. Highway 75 after he failed to obey a traffic control device.
McGraw was arrested for the traffic violation. When the deputy searched inside, he found two glass pipes and two bags of methamphetamine.
McGraw was booked in the Grayson County Jail for possession of controlled substance and failure to obey traffic control device. Attorney Keith Brown posted the $10,000 bond.
McGraw is also a municipal judge in Howe.
