GUNTER, TX - The lockdown at Gunter ISD has been lifted.

Gunter Police Chief Bryce Kennedy says there was a domestic disturbance at a home approximately four miles outside Gunter earlier this afternoon. At the time police believed that man was armed with a gun, but police recovered the gun, and the lockdown was lifted just before 3:30 p.m.

Kennedy says the Grayson County Sheriff's Office will be seeking an arrest warrant for the man, whose name has not been released.
