BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A man who led Bryan County authorities on a high speed chase after stealing a Sheriff Deputy's vehicle was arraigned Thursday afternoon.
Spencer Cavender is facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny of an automobile, and endangering others while eluding a police officer.
Cavender faced a judge via video conference earlier Thursday.
Authorities say he sped away after stealing a police unit from the scene of a burglary investigation Monday night.
The sheriff's office says a deputy shot Cavender as he was trying to get away.
He was booked into the Bryan County Jail Wednesday night after being released from the hospital.
He remains in jail on a $250,000 dollar bond.
