PARIS, TX - A man who threatened to blow up a Paris drug store this morning if he didn't get the drugs he demanded didn't make it very far before police caught up with him.
Paris Police say 33-year-old Joel Dwayne Srader went into the Paris Apothecary on Lamar Avenue around 10:30 this morning where he told pharmacy employees if they didn't give him the drugs he wanted, he'd blow up the store.
Srader left the store on foot and was located by police near the drug store with the drugs he'd stolen. He was arrested for aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substrance in a drug free zone. Srader was within 1,000 feet of a Paris day care.
