McKinney man pleads guilty to threatening Grayson County officials

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - A McKinney man pleaded guilty Monday to charges that he threatened Grayson County officials back in 2011.

Randy Gibson received 10 years probation for threatening Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown, one of his assistants, and County Court at Law Judge Carol Siebman.

Gibson threatened to bring his gun to Grayson County and wait in the parking lot to make a citizen's arrest on all three officials.

When deputies went to Gibson's home to arrest him in 2011 they found a handgun, rifles, boxes of ammo, and pages of writing related to the case.
