MARSHALL COUNTY, OK-- Leanne Shrought thought she could trust her landlord. She has been renting a house, from Randolph Derebery, in Marshall County since September.

On Sunday night, Shrought let her daughters take a phone charger to the landlord, who runs the RV storage next door. Her daughters said that's when the incident happened.

"They went over there and he gave them another beer and said we got our secrets. He put his hands down their pants and up their shirts. And kept telling them it's their secret."

The Marshall County Sheriff's office was called to the scene.

"The deputy's had not decided to do a forensic interview with the females because of the believability. Once they sat down with Mr. Derebery and interviewed him, they felt comfortable enough with the investigation, with the interview they did with Mr. Derebery, that they could proceed with the charges," explained, Undersheriff, Donny Raley.

Derebery was arrested on charges of 2 lewd acts with a minor. He paid a $35,000 bail and was released from jail. The court ordered Derebery to have no contact with the 13 and 14 year old girls.

KXII tried contacting Derebery and he never returned our phone call.

"I'm going to have to look for another place to go. I can't get any kind of order to keep him away from my kids. He's the landlord, he owns the property," Shrought said.

Sheriff's Deputies did advise Shrought and her family to look for an alternative place to live. But she said it's just too tough financially for her family.

Shrought hopes there aren't other kids.

"I don't want the kids to be scared to speak up. That's the big thing, we can't speak up, we can't protect you if you don't speak up. You got to tell us what's wrong."
