DENISON, TX -- By day "Fully Restored" on Main Street houses a massage therapy clinic.

But in the evenings the space plays host to a different purpose.

Denison resident Robin Jones and Sarah Meyers are helping to start a new series of evening classes.

"We have a wide variety of teachers that have passions from belly-dancing to yoga to painting," Jones said. "Back in the spring we started talking about how can we do a teaching circle and everyone just share our passions with each other. And it just grew from there to offer it to the community."

That's when she met Tammi Drinkard, owner of Totally Restored.

"I thought she was a pretty smart person, had a wealth of knowledge, so I offered the space to her," she said.

The classes rely on a "gift-economy."

"If they want to offer a donation, that's fine. If not, it's free," Jones said.

Donations go toward paying instructors and overhead costs like utilities.

Jones said every Monday night is yoga. But on Friday's they mix it up.

"There's gonna be a wide variety of classes, definitely something for everyone," she said.

They have the schedule set for August. Now they're working on September - which Drinkard says will include some massage classes.

"I'll be teaching infant massage, couples massage, self massage, just different things to benefit people," she said.

Jones said she hopes to see the idea take off - and is already looking to the future.

"Well really it could just turn into a community center where we are just open all day everyday," she said.

Future classes include fitness hula hooping and food dehydration.
