ARDMORE, OK - The Ardmore Police Department will have a new head of Criminal Investigation.

Sgt. Bobby Moore will be replacing Captain Kevin Norris as the lead position in the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Chief Keith Mann said.

Mann said, Moore has a broad range of experience in law enforcement that makes him the right candidate for the position.

Moore has 17 years of experience in law enforcement, eight of which are with the Ardmore Police Department.

After spending his whole career in the patrol and narcotics division, Moore said he is excited to expand his experience and move forward.

He does not plan to make any changes to the CID and will be working hand in hand with the rest of the team, which includes four detectives and three narctoics officers.

Moore said he wants citizens to know if they see any suspicious activity in their neighborhood or business, they should feel free to give him a call.

Police say informing them of tips or any information you have is crucial to solving and preventing crimes.
