ARDMORE, OK-- Oklahoma Highway Patrol said beginning now and every month they will conduct a no refusal operation in counties throughout southern Oklahoma that rank high in alcohol related crashes.
The operation will speed the process for troopers and other law enforcement officials to obtain a search warrant which forces suspected drunk drivers to submit to blood testing.
The current no refusal operation is taking place in Pontotoc county and will happen from now until April 1st. . OHP said the operation will help area law enforcement get the proof they need to convict drunk drivers in criminal court.
