GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- North Texas Youth Connection will be major making changes beginning in June.
According to the board of directors, they will be refocusing their resources to the emergency shelter for homeless and run-away youth.
Federal funding cuts led to phasing out the Transitional Living Program and the ability to continue the apartment housing for single adults as well as not continuing with services to E At-Risk Youth counseling program.
In a statement they said quote "We feel that the re-focus on our founding mission of service to homeless youth and teens will allow us to provide this unique and much needed service."
The North Texas Youth Connection organization is the only shelter servicing youth between Plano and Tulsa.
