SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX-- A Northeast Texas man is one of three soldiers that have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of another solider at an Army Base in Washington State.
21 year old Private First Class Cedarium Johnson is a 2010 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. Authorities charged him with rendering criminal assistance, saying he helped dispose of the murder weapon.
20 year old Tevin Geike was fatally stabbed Saturday while he was on his way to celebrate his upcoming discharge from the Army.
Police are now saying the attack does not appear to be racially motivated.
Johnson has been released from jail.
All three men have pleaded not guilty.
