The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation tells us 78-year-old Thomas Culwell and his sister 80-year-old Marion Culwell were found dead in the 3200 block of Pompa Horse Friday night around 10:40 p.m.

"The medical examiner got here, he discovered what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the male victim and then we thought the female might have possibly had a heart attack," said Love County Sheriff Joe Russell. "He went to bag her up and they rolled her over and went to bag her up and noticed another gunshot wound in her."

Investigators said the two were working on their fence Friday evening. Sheriff Russel said Marion's son got worried when they didn't come home.

"There was some coon hunters down there hunting and knew they were down there hunting so he called them and asked if they'd go check this area where they were supposed to be working," added Russell.

Jessica Brown with the OSBI said at this time there are no suspects.

"We're in the process of interviewing people as well as collecting evidence and sending it to our laboratory, hoping we can get some information from that," she said.

Both agencies are still investigating and ask anyone with information to come forward.

"If they saw something that's unusual," said Brown. "If they saw anything unusual yesterday, in the area where this happened, please call OSBI. We need that information."
