The Oklahoma Tourism department is asking visitors to avoid water contact at Lake Texoma while they complete some testing.
The Army Corps of Engineers is conducting tests on blue green algae cell count and toxicity.
B.J. Parkey with the Corp of Engineers said they pulled samples this week, but are awaiting results.
Previous tests have shown minimum toxicity levels.
The Tourism Department says while they discourage swimming, visitors can still go boating.
