Paris City Council approves bond use

PARIS, TX - The city of Paris is getting use out of its recently approved $45-million bond.

Council members approved the use of $35-million for water and sewer line repair, leaving $10-million for future use.

Mayor A.J Hashmi reassured citizens that the bond money would be used for water and sewer repairs and not put towards street repairs as some KSA engineers suggested.

Voters approved the $45-million bond during the May city elections.
