Paris man arrested; accused of threatening people with hatchet

PARIS, TX-- A Paris man was arrested Tuesday for an altercation back in July, when police say he swung a hatchet at several people.

Police say, 32 year old Tony Ray House has been arrested on a felony warrant for allegedly threatening to assault multiple people, including his ex-wife, with a medieval hatchet.

Officials say during the incident, in the 1700 block of West Henderson Street, House broke a car window with the hatchet.

He is being held in the Lamar County Jail.
