SHERMAN, TX -- A bizarre accident in Sherman Wednesday night left one pedestrian injured and shut down FM-1417 for nearly an hour.
Sherman police say around 7:45 PM, a truck was traveling on FM-1417 near Redbud Trail, just south of Highway 82.
Up to four people were walking on the shoulder of FM-1417, when the truck driver clipped one of the pedestrians with his side mirror.

Fire, police and EMS came to the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with facial injuries and is awaiting the results of a CT scan.
No charges have been filed, pending the result of an investigation.
FM-1417 is now re-opened.
