POTTSBORO, TX -- Some shoppers received a free bag of groceries this weekend.
It is all thanks to the new Brookshire's opening up in Pottsboro.
Friday and Saturday up to 2,000 shoppers signed up for their thank you cards, got a sneak peek of the store, and walked out with a bag of groceries.
It has been years since Pottsboro has had it's own grocery store. The new business will open Wednesday.
It has created many jobs in the area.
