Pipeline protester arrested for assault in Bennington

BENNINGTON, OK -- A protest of the Keystone pipeline in Bennington ended with an assault on a Durant first responders.

25-year old Stefan Warner faces assault charges for allegedly shoving Durant Fire Chief Roger Joines.

Eric Whelan and Gwen Ingram are being charged with obstruction and trespassing.

An affidavit states Warner shoved Joines out of the way as he tried to lock himself to the fire truck.

Joines was not hurt.

All three have bonded out of the Bryan county jail.
