Plant expansion brings more economic growth to Garvin County

ELMORE CITY, OK -- Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb, and other dignitaries gathered in Elmore City today to celebrate an expansion at the Forum Energy Technologies Plant.

The manufacturing company produces equipment for oil and gas production, and Wednesday, a 10,000 square foot addition was opened to allow for more efficient production on larger equipment.

State Senator, Susan Paddack, says the expansion will bring more economic growth and jobs to Garvin County.

"It just continues to grow. It's good for the economy," said Paddack. "They provide tremendous jobs for this area, it's good for the energy industry to have a manufacturer right here in Oklahoma to provide products that they need."

Forum Energy has five other manufacturing plants in Oklahoma, and officials with the company say they see another expansion happening in the future.
