POTTSBORO, TX -- Kenneth Dolezalek was out running errands Sunday morning, when he got the call that his home was on fire.

"I had already heard over the phone," he said. "I was not feeling very good."

Fire officials say it started around 11 a.m along Hwy 289. They say the Pottsboro, Denison, Preston, Locust, Gunner and Airport Fire Departments responded.

It was out by 11:30.

"They said it looked like it started in the office room, where computers were kept and stuff like that," Dolezalek said.

Cheryl Horn works for Dolezalek. She said he called her to go check on the house.

"I dropped everything and I rushed over. They had already put the fire out when I got there," she said."But everything inside was just gone."

She said one of his rental properties along Smith Oaks Road burned to the ground on Wednesday. Fire officials can't confirm if the fires are related.

Officials haven't determined the cause of Sunday's fire. But at this point, they don't believe it's suspicious.

Horn said the home is a total loss.

"Let's all pray for him," she said.

Dolezalek said he's lucky to have friends and family to help him out.

"I've got a rent house or two, maybe I can get one of those," he said.

The American Red Cross is also helping Dolezalek out. No one was home at the time of the fire.

The Grayson County Fire Marshal is investigating.
