POTTSBORO, TEXAS -- The city of Pottsboro is searching for a new police chief, after their chief of eight years, Brett Arterburn, resigned last week.

Pottsboro Mayor Frank Budra says in the meantime, Pottsboro police Lt. David Brown will serve as interim chief, but Budra says he does not believe Lt. Brown wants to stay on as police chief fulltime.

Budra says those interested in the position can submit applications to the city secretary or city manager.
