POTTSBORO, TX - Pottsboro high school got word today It's rating has been upgraded to "Exemplary."
The school was originally rated as "recognized" but back in August the district filed an appeal after officials found out the test scores of a student in another district had been included in theirs. Today they got a call from Robert Scott, commissioner of education. He informed them they had won their appeal and the high school is now officially rated as "exemplary."
It's one of only 66 schools in Texas to be given the title and the only one in Grayson County.
