Woman accused of running over pregnant Ardmore woman appears in court
ARDMORE, OK - A woman accused of running over a pregnant Ardmore woman in April was in court for a preliminary hearing Thursday morning.
Court records show 28-year-old Veronica Jaramillo is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Prosecutors said she ran over Miller when Miller went to check on a fight outside her home.
Miller suffered a fractured spine, fractured pelvis and a miscarriage.
The case has been bound over for trial.
Jaramillo is currently out on bail and is set to be arraigned in October.
