HUGO, OK -- United States Senator Tom Coburn stopped in Hugo today for a town hall meeting, discussing a variety of topics with residents.
Some of the topics discussed were the affordable health care act, gun rights, federal deficit and privacy worries.
Coburn says town hall meetings allow him to learn what Oklahomans are most concerned about and he's worried that people are lacking confidence in our government.
"Crisis of confidence, frustration, people knowing what's happening in Washington and what the best interest in the country is." said Coburn. "I hear it all over Oklahoma and I hear it a lot from other people as well."
Coburn also attended town hall meetings in Stingler and Atoka today. He also has a meeting planned in Shawnee on Monday.
