The Sherman Police Department is investigating a deadly car fire reported early this morning on US Highway 82.
According to Sherman Police, officers were called at 3:00 AM to investigate reports of an accident on US Highway 82 just under the east control road of US Highway 75. When officers arrived on scene they found the car fully engulfed with the driver deceased and still inside.
Sherman Police say, the driver is believed to be a 20-year-old female and the family has been notified.
The Critical Accident Investigation Team is investigating the fire.
