Sherman taxi cab ordinance approved
SHERMAN, TX - The Sherman city council voted unanimously to approve the city's new taxi ordinance.
Cabs will now be required to maintain some sort of commercial insurance, registration, inspection checks and background checks.
The ordinance goes into effect immediately.
Mayor Cary Wacker says all paperwork will be available at the city clerks office.
