SHERMAN, TX - Sherman firefighters battling a mobile home fire early this morning, found a man's body inside. Sherman Police say they're still not sure what caused the fire or the man's death, and until they know, they're treating it as a crime scene.

Officials say it happened a little after 4:00 a.m. in the Meadow View Trailer Park off Crockett street.
Neighbors say they heard loud popping sounds and came outside to find the trailer at 2215 up in flames.
Police say a man's body was found inside and has been sent to the Dallas Medical Examiners office.

"It's being treated as a crime scene simply because we don't know at this point in time the cause of the fire, or if the death was a result of the fire or something else." said Sherman Police Sergeant, Bruce Dawsey.

Sherman Police won't release the man's name at this time.
They say they're still investigating his death and what caused the fire.
