DENISON, TEXAS -- The committee, created to manage a tax reinvestment zone for the Schuler Development, met for the first time this afternoon.

They finalized plans, that will be presented to the Denison city council Monday, for the annexation of more than 3,000 acres into the city.

Developer George Schuler plans to use that land to build a multi-billion dollar high-end community on the lake.

Mayor Jared Johnson says construction could take five to seven years, and will begin, depending on a need in the marketplace.
