ARDMORE, OK - Police believe they have captured a teenager who broke into a fast-food restaurant.

Alert officers working overnight found the teen near the scene of a break-in and arrested him, police Sgt. Ryan Hunnicutt said.

Devon Herrington, 18, of Davis, broke into the Arby's on North Commerce Street, Hunnicutt said.

Someone kicked in the drive-through window around 2 a.m., but nothing appears to have been taken, said Kim Thompson of Arby's owner U.S. Beef.

Now, police are investigating whether Herrington may be involved in four other break-ins at restaurants in the same area over the past few days, but they don't believe he acted alone.

On Friday morning, employees at Subway reported their safe was missing, while the Sirloin Stockade came up short $60 worth of coins. Police say Sonic and Grandy's were also targeted.
