CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK-- Two Choctaw County residents are behind bars after a weekend drug bust.
Officials say 36 year old Rodney Harty and 28 year old Natasha Kinslow were arrested Saturday for trafficking meth within 2000 feet of a school.
Deputies say they found a little over 24 grams of meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two firearms in a home in the 500 block of Cincinnati in Fort Towson.
Chief Deputy Larry Hendrix says he believes the two were dealing not only locally but as far north as Tennessee.
"We have received a lot of complaints on Mr. Harty from that area," said Hendrix. "So hopefully it will give the people in that area some peace for a little while."
Hendrix says the arrests are the result of a two month long investigation.
Harty is being held in the Choctaw County Jail on a $250,000 bond while Kinslow is being held on a $100,000 bond.
