GRAYSON COUNTY, TEXAS -- Crews are still monitoring the fire that's burned more than 3,000 acres on both sides of the Red River since Sunday.
Grayson County Fire Marshal Kevin Walton says the blaze that started around noon Sunday in Love County is now almost extinguished on the edge of Cooke and Grayson counties at Delaware Bend Road.
Walton says the north wind that came in last night actually helped put the fire out.
He says no structures have been threatened by the flames and that the majority of the fire is surrounded by water.
